Job Summary
A provider of behavioral health services has an open position for a Remote EAP Counselor in Southern California.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing short-term, solution focused counseling to employees
- Ensuring continuity of patient care through contact with providers as needed
- Conducting brief telephonic and in-person, clinical assessments
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel as required
- Master’s degree or associate’s degree in nursing with psychiatric nursing experience
- Current, valid and unrestricted CA state license in a mental health field
- 3-5 years direct practice experience in psychiatric or substance abuse treatment
- Keyboard skills sufficient to type 40 40 words per minute
- Experience with computer based information systems
