Job Summary

A provider of behavioral health services has an open position for a Remote EAP Counselor in Southern California.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Providing short-term, solution focused counseling to employees
• Ensuring continuity of patient care through contact with providers as needed
• Conducting brief telephonic and in-person, clinical assessments

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Ability to travel as required
• Master’s degree or associate’s degree in nursing with psychiatric nursing experience
• Current, valid and unrestricted CA state license in a mental health field
• 3-5 years direct practice experience in psychiatric or substance abuse treatment
• Keyboard skills sufficient to type 40 40 words per minute
• Experience with computer based information systems
