Job Summary

An education benefits provider has an open position for a Remote Education Benefits Quality Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Build and own processes for testing designated team products and automated testing efforts
  • Work closely with product, engineers, and business to fully acceptance-test new features, bug fixes, and improvements
  • Share information gathered while planning and testing to squad members and others as-needed using existing processes or recommending new ones

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of proven experience, passionate about testing, software quality assurance, and/or quality engineering
  • Solid understanding of Quality Engineering concepts and methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with API, functional, compatibility, acceptance/smoke testing, ad-hoc/exploratory, database, regression, staging, installation and multi-platform testing
