Job Summary
A hospital needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Education Genetic Counselor in Rochester.
Must be able to:
- Provide expertise and guidance as a genetic counselor for on-line genetic testing applications
- Write patient-directed scientific/medical content about genetic conditions and test results
- Serve as liaison to medical, design, and bioinformatics teams for guidance regarding the content and testing
Skills and Requirements Include:
- A two-year commitment to this position is required
- Master of Science or Master of Arts in Genetic Counseling by (ABGC) required
- Certification must be attained within 2 years of start date
- Must be licensed by the state of Minnesota
