Job Summary
An online company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Education Program Officer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing educational materials that reach a global audience of program leaders and educators
- Using best practices for instructional design to develop resources and materials
- Developing and managing new projects that help meet our goals
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 10% travel
- Passion for Open knowledge
- Demonstrated teaching experience, knowledge of pedagogy and instructional design
- An understanding of global policy issues in education
- Knowledge of the culture, communities and education systems of one or more regions of focus
- Experience with community service-focused, volunteer-based, and/or international initiatives
