Job Summary
A company that provides the first public safety operating system is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Embedded Quality Assurance Director.
Must be able to:
- Hire, lead and grow a team of Embedded Software Test Engineers
- Design and drive integration and test effort
- Understand system requirements and limitations to see through what needs to be tested
Qualifications for this position include:
- Strong team leadership, as well as people and program management skills
- Experience in the consumer electronics industry in embedded software or firmware
- Experience building and managing high-performing QA teams
- Knowledge of embedded system design, and previous experience with RTOS and/or Linux systems
- Previous experience with python and shell scripting as well as C/C++ or Java
- Experience working with and building test automation frameworks, infrastructure, and data analysis
