Job Summary

The Business Partner, Employee Relations and Experience role contributes to the company's performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives. They will analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions; programs and policies. The role is critical in executing our HR & Employee Experience initiatives, providing great internal customer support, global inclusion efforts and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The Business Partner will engage with functional area managers to resolve employee relation issues, escalating when needed.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Business Partnership
Gather, analyze and translate data (e.g. from eNPS, HR metrics, focus groups, new hire/exit interviews, surveys, etc.) into recommendations for talent strategies and initiatives that address organizational priorities and unmet needs
Contributes to and implements HR strategies/talent programs, policies and practices within assigned teams
Build solid relationships with leaders and assist them in finding appropriate HR solutions to meet their needs. Coach them to effectively manage and grow their teams, in alignment with organizational goals, values, competencies, and policies/procedures
Serve as an initial contact for employee relations issues. Escalates new/complex issues as appropriate to Director of Employee Success and SVP, People or Legal Counsel
Develop and/or deliver presentations and training (e.g. new employee orientation, employee development, etc.)

Employee Experience
Gather, analyze and translate data (e.g. from eNPS, HR metrics, focus groups, new hire/exit interviews, surveys, etc.) into recommendations for talent strategies and initiatives that address organizational priorities and unmet needs
Manages all aspects of onboarding and orientation, ensuring compliance for state regulations
Assists in being a subject matter expert in a consultancy role, providing guidance as needed on staff development training needs
Exercises professional skill and subject matter knowledge to write presentations, executive talking points, articles and promotional materials about the company's education efforts
Manages all training calendars working cross functionally with other departments to ensure employer branding and addressing training needs
Partners with Talent Acquisition team to ensure seamless onboarding from recruitment through first 90 days
Develop and maintain knowledge base for employees to have the most up to date information
Plans, organizes and facilitates employee development efforts through Brain Boost and other company sponsored learning programs

Employee Relations
Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance
Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department
Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
Provide HR policy guidance
Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
Identify training needs for teams and individuals
Evaluate training programs
Partner with managers and other HR staff to ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Conduct internal investigations and prepare all required documentation when issues are escalated to human resources.
Maintains electronic HR files and provides event planning, and employee relations activities that foster our values and culture

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management, or other related fields.
PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
4+ years of experience in the Human Resources field required
2+ years of experience managing staff development / training programs
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws including ADA, EEO, FMLA, Title VII, wage and hour laws, and benefits
LMS Management experience a plus
Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite preferred
Ability to be flexible and agile in a rapidly growing company
Ability to take direction and execute with little supervision
Detail-oriented and ability to proofread policy documentation
Ability to navigate through difficult human resource situations
