Job Summary
A consulting firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Energy Market Analyst.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Analyze transmission markets, renewable energy strategies and energy systems modeling
- Coordinate modeling teams and managing projects
- Deliver solutions to identified client problems
Qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in energy market forecasting and analysis
- 2+ years of experience with nodal electricity market and powerflow tools
- Strong analytical aptitude, experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Master's degree, preferably in electrical engineering, but will also consider other engineering degrees, operations research, or economics
