A cloud-based business solutions company has a current position open for a Remote Engineering Director.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Guiding discussions that address tactical technical questions
  • Being a role model and professional coach to engineers
  • Facilitating cross organizational projects

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • A few years of experience of leading teams of around 10 engineers
  • Solid track record working in the technology industry as an engineer
  • Understands the the ups and downs the comes along with scaling
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, AWS
  • Experience with the full lifecycle of building, deploying, and maintaining distributed systems
  • Familiar with relational and noSQL databases
