Job Summary

A media company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Engineering Lead.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Lead a software engineering team in the development of assigned software applications and tools
• Set software engineering project schedules, define project parameters and tasks and monitors project tasks
• Manage on-site contractors in their unit including interviewing, selecting/recruiting, assigning work, reviewing work, and tracking expenses

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Ability to effectively present and discuss technical and business issues appropriate to the audience
• Demonstrated knowledge of general management practices (e.g., performance management, client service, quality assurance, project management)
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative in translating company and department objectives into tactical and operational tasks
• Ability to understand clients’ business processes and objectives
