Job Summary
A technology company is in need of a Remote Engineering Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Implementing and coaching teams on Agile and/or Kanban best practices and directions
- Growing the team and participate in Hiring/Recruitment process
- Coaching, mentoring, providing career directions and conduct performance appraisals to direct reports
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years software and systems delivery experience
- 2+ years development management or team lead experience
- You can motivate and instill a strong sense of ownership in your team
- Proficient with Ruby on Rails or other web framework combined with a willingness to learn new technologies
- Experience in Agile environments/Agile methodologies
- Experience developing distributed systems which can handle data at scale
