Job Summary
A sports media publishing company is seeking a Remote Engineering Vice President.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing your team of leaders and helping them to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced, agile, high-growth environment
- Making technology, infrastructure, architectural and hiring decisions to meet anticipated demands and scale
- Evaluating trade-offs and effectively prioritizing tasks within each team in alignment with strategic initiatives and company goals
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 8+ years of experience managing an engineering team
- Experience leading a team building a consumer product on both web and iOS/Android
- Experience with some portion of the company's tech stack, and an appetite to learn the remainder
- Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Strong desire to stay connected to the codebase
