Job Summary

A non-profit company has a current position open for a Remote English Language Arts Content Specialist in San Francisco.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Editing and reviewing ELA assessment items
  • Analyzing reading passage stimuli for assessments
  • Serving as lead ELA content specialist on projects

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in English or a related field
  • Teaching experience or background in application of ELA content in other settings
  • Expertise with ELA content for prekindergarten-grade 2 and/or grade 3-high school
  • Working knowledge of rigorous college- and career-ready state standards OR
  • Common Core State Standards for ELA
  • Experience with a large-scale assessment development organization or team
