A technical and creative services provider specializing in the video games industry is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote English to Basque Subtitle Translator and Quality Controller.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Quickly adapting to workflow/process changes and updates
- Serving as a freelance translator with subtitling for the TC and Movie Industry
Qualifications Include:
- Native language fluency of Basque
- Proven great attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, analytical and multitasking skills
- Extensive knowledge of source language
- University degree or equivalent professional experience in the translation field
- Experience in at least one of the following areas of the entertainment industry: localization QC, audiovisual translation and subtitling
- Proven deep understanding of nuances of subtitle and dub translations
