Job Summary

A banking and financial services firm is in need of a Remote Enterprise Data Engineering Principal Data Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Creating the architecture and driving design
  • Working to continuously enhance the data management framework
  • Actively participating in/Lead design sessions

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in data engineering / data transformation / big data and solution architecture / related
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, or related disciplines
  • Hands-on and build prototypes, first mile of delivery and architecture as code
  • Experience handling big data, designing integrated data solutions using public cloud
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles
  • Proven track record of leveraging open-source capabilities such as Apache Spark
