Job Summary

An information technology company is filling a position for a Remote Enterprise Infrastructure and Microservices Technical Writer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Writing complex technical information clearly, concisely, accurately and idiomatically
  • Writing developer guides, code samples, and API references on open source projects
  • Explaining complex distributed system platforms/cloud technologies to technical audiences

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Four years of relevant experience in technical writing, product documentation, or online publishing
  • Experience with writing technical customer-facing materials
  • Experience with source code written in Java, C++, Golang, Python and/or JavaScript
  • 4 years' experience researching and writing excellent documentation for developers
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, service mesh technologies such as Istio and Envoy
