Job Summary

A company that specializes in English language editing and field-specific translation is in need of a Telecommuting Entry Level Computer Science and Software Engineering Independent Contract Editors.

Individual must be able to:

• Edit scholarly manuscripts originally written by non-native English speakers so that language is not a barrier to research communication
• Work remotely from anywhere with a stable internet connection and edit within your areas of academic expertise, set your own availability, and determine the right workload

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Either be enrolled in a graduate program or possess a graduate degree
• Have native English proficiency; and
• Have a documented current or former affiliation (in the form of a degree, current enrollment, postdoctoral training, employment, or faculty appointment) with one of the U.S. schools or institutions from which the employer recruits computer science and math editors
