Job Summary

A web hosting provider is seeking a Remote Entry Level Linux Helpdesk Support.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Helping customers with technical and non-technical solutions to inquiries via phone, chat, and email
  • Installing and upgrading web software
  • Troubleshooting a variety of issues including email, DNS, and SSL certificates

Required Skills:

  • Travel for some company events
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with direct customer interaction experience
  • Experience using LINUX command line environment and common commands
  • Knowledge of required settings for email clients like Outlook and Mac Mail and ability to coach users
  • Some experience with php, css, html and web server configuration
  • Facility with a wide variety of software including word processing, CLI-based text editors, chat clients, mail clients, softphones, and other internet technologies
