Job Summary
A clinical research organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Environment Health and Safety Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Establishing EHS strategies and goals necessary to achieve excellence
- Developing and implementing EHS policies, standards, guidelines and programs
- Assuring compliance of divisional operations to all applicable laws
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety or Environmental or related technical discipline
- 8-10 years progressive experience leading EHS in a multi-site
- Must have a working understanding of environmental, health and safety regulations
- Knowledge in the technical fundamentals of safety management
- Must have strong leadership and influencing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
