Remote Epic Hospital Billing and Claims Analyst

Job Summary

A privately-held company specializing in mobile technology solutions for the healthcare and enterprise industries has a current position open for a Remote Epic Hospital Billing and Claims Analyst.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Providing expertise and leadership in the coordination of Hospital Billing application
• Reviewing software and analyzing business operations and collaborating with subject matter experts to tailor EHR system to fit institution needs
• Performing in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical components associated with the use of EHR software

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Seven years’ experience of Epic software/domain/software systems implementation/support or business systems process analysis/design; or may substitute required education with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis
• Epic Hospital Billing certification
• Epic Claims certification
• Ability to assist with Epic upgrades, as well as provide ongoing maintenance and support
• Experience building claim edits, mapping RMC codes, claim edit and account WQ build/modification, ABN modifier mapping, and claims condition code mapping
