Job Summary
A staffing agency has a current position open for a Remote EPIC Systems Administrator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Supporting the servers and VMs that run the EPIC Client systems and windows application suite
- Monitoring system performance counters, application response time and other system metrics
- Ensuring that application and system configurations support optimal system performance
Position Requirements Include:
- 5 years experience building, supporting and running a tier 1 application
- Self starter with ability to operate with little direct oversight
- Ability to become an expert in new applications in a relatively short timeframe
- Good interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, and DNS and firewalls
- Effective priority and task management skills
