Job Summary

A construction company is seeking a Remote Estimator in Beaufort.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Resolving cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Maintaining knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process
• Obtaining accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates

Required Skills:

• This position requires occasional travel to attend pre-bid meetings and client/industry conferences
• 5+ years experience preparing estimates at the GC level
• Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans
• Solid understanding of basic estimating principles
• 5+ years experience with bid solicitation
