Job Summary
A defense and aerospace company is seeking a Remote Export Compliance Coordinator.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Making moderate enhancements or improvements to systems and processes to solve problems
- Ensuring compliance with approved license applications, agreements, general correspondence, and permits/licenses
- Developing and conducting export/import and ITAR training consistent with corporate guidance
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Role can be remote, the incumbent would need to travel once a quarter to Mason, Ohio
- Experience with U.S. trade regulations (ITAR and EAR) in a working situation
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
- Previous work experience working directly with U.S. Government agencies
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in the export/import shipping field
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
