Job Summary

A healthcare company is filling a position for a Remote Facility Medical Coding Quality Assurance Specialist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Analyzing daily, monthly and periodic reports
• Ensuring that QA percentages are within acceptable ranges
• Implementing a coding quality program based on client specific coding guidelines

Required Skills:

• RHIA, RHIT, or CCS, HCS-D or CPC
• Minimum five years inpatient QA experience in facility setting
• Working knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
• Understanding of Regulatory Coding Guidelines and Standards
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high quality standards of 95% or greater
• ICD-10 coding experience and completion of an ICD-10 course
