Job Summary
A boutique PR firm has an open position for a Remote Fashion Publicist.
Must be able to:
- Develop and maintain familiarity with individual clients’ fashion focus and seasonal lines
- Identify and initiate pitch ideas for clients
- Pitch and secure coverage for clients in major print and online outlets
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fashion PR, either agency or in-house
- Strong contacts with consumer fashion publications, print and online
- Proven record of media placements
- Can provide writing samples including pitches, press releases, and correspondence
- Ability to be productive and successful in a self-directed, telecommuting environment
