Job Summary

An online university for adult learners has an open position for a Remote Financial Aid Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Process federal, state, institutional, and private aid
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective students and staff
  • Evaluate the financial aid applications, determine the amount/configuration of aid packages for students

Position Requirements Include:

  • 1-year experience in Financial Aid
  • Must be in good standing with the Department of Education, no loans in default
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of financial aid policies, procedures, and eligibility requirements
  • Skill in researching regulatory information and resolving complex financial aid questions
  • Skill in computing complex mathematical formulas
