Job Summary
A privately-held information technology and professional services consulting firm is seeking a Remote Firewall Network Engineer in McLean.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Configuring firewalls, VPNs, and virtual networks. It will operate and maintain enterprise network security infrastructure devices
- Maintaining networking environment by designing system configuration, orchestrating system installation, defining, documenting
- Securing network by establishing and enforcing written policies and defining and monitoring access using cutting edge security tools
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Expertise and certifications in Cisco, SonicWall, and Fortinet firewalls and network appliances
- 5+ years of direct network architecture/LAN/WAN management expertise
- 5+ years of experience supporting, monitoring & troubleshooting network & applications servers running Microsoft Windows
- 5+ years of experience in setup, configuration & administration of firewalls & firewall clusters
- 5+ years of experience with network technologies and services like routing and switching, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers
