Job Summary

A food company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Food and Beverage Customer Category Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Effectively penetrating the customer to build rapport at all levels
  • Aggressively pursuing and leading their assigned customer in achievement of Base Business Objectives
  • Achieving CBT New Item Authorization and Distribution goals with their assigned customer

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Willing to travel 10-20% out of the area
  • 3 years in customer management, account management, and/or retail sales management for a CPG company
  • Strong sales background with an excellent understanding of business processes and Category Management
  • Experience in effective customer management and selling to achieve objectives
  • Ability to work independently and to plan, organize and set/achieve priorities when performing work
  • Superior interpersonal skills
