Job Summary
The developer of an online real estate platform has a current position open for a Remote Forecasting Data Visualization Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Building compelling, clear, and powerful visualizations of the company's data (a Tableau shop)
- Diving into the company's internal and third-party data to develop solutions that help move the business forward
- Telling a clear story, highlighting insights we hadn't previously seen, and doing it all faster than we've been able to without dashboards
Qualifications for this position include:
- Undergraduate or master's degree in a quantitative field or demonstrable experience within data science and analytics
- 2+ years of work experience with SQL and Tableau (or other data visualization software and excitement to learn Tableau)
- Experience working in very large data warehouse environments
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills to concisely communicate
- Skills to work multi-functionally and to push the boundaries of strong visual storytelling and self-service data visualization
