Job Summary

A medical equipment company is in need of a Remote Funding Coordinator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing medical documentation for accuracy/medical necessity
  • Maintaining consistent follow up on status of all prior authorization requests
  • Reviewing authorizations from payer to determine approved/denied items

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Six months medical documentation related experience or training required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities
  • Able to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision
  • Able to use technology to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
