Job Summary

An award-winning global nonprofit newsroom is seeking a Remote Global Editor.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Report to the Editor in Chief to manage core global coverage
• Cover global editing needs
• Review and edit pitches, editing stories and develop social media strategy

Required Skills:

• Experience managing a newsroom who will support a growing team of journalists around the world
• At least 6 to 9 years’ demonstrated editing and reporting experience
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced newsroom
• Experience editing staff reporters and freelance journalists
