A technology company is filling a position for a Remote Hadoop Big Data Developer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Coding and testing modules
- Doing development in Agile environment
- Applying creative problem-solving using tools and technologies
Position Requirements Include:
- 2-3 years experience required with Hadoop environment as user
- 2-3 years experience required with Linux as a user and as a programmer
- 2-3 years experience required with Spark programming using either Scala or Python
- 2-3 years experience required with SQL programming in Hive and Spark SQL
- 2-3 years experience required with Linux scripts using shell and python
- 2-3 years experience required with HBASE knowledge or deep understanding of any other no-sql database
