Job Summary

A technology staffing and consulting firm is seeking a Remote Haptic Sound Product Designer in New York City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Use behavioral insights to inform how to develop new opportunities for products and improve engagement on existing product lines
• Contribute as part of small focused teams to uncover better approaches to deliver on unmet needs
• Work on product design and feature initiatives across initial interface concepts and existing product lines

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years of industry experience in design and development of interface of applications & digital/physical products
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human factors, Human computer interactions, design, acoustics, audio engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or electrical engineering
• A portfolio demonstrating process, user-centric design thinking, and execution, across experience platforms
• Proven experience in the areas of Haptic design, audio design and physical/digital product
• Experience with audio test systems (SoundCheck, B&K vibration)
