Job Summary
A global insurance and risk management firm has a current position open for a Remote Hazmat Truck Program Insurance Underwriting Specialist in Denver.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Determining acceptability of risk in accordance with company underwriting guidelines
- Completing strategic account review and file documentation
- Developing key production sources to develop new business opportunities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of commercial underwriting experience or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior commercial truck underwriting experience a must.
- Professional designation as AU, ARM or CPCU designation or in process with goal to complete
- Independent, entrepreneurial spirit capable of managing a large book of business with minimal supervision
- P&C License is required
