Job Summary

A health service company is filling a position for a Remote Health Care Customer Service Representative.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve service inquires and issues on the first call
  • Educate customers about the fundamentals and benefits of consumer-driven health care
  • Contact care providers on behalf of the customer to assist with appointment scheduling

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years of combined education, work and/or volunteer experience
  • familiarity with medical terminology, health plan documents, or benefit plan design is ideal
  • Social work, behavioral health, disease prevention, health promotion and behavior change is helpful
  • Customer Service and Sales or account management experience is preferred
