Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Health Promotion Consultant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting with the State/Region/Local Needs Assessment document
- Defining the marketing environment through development of key stakeholder criteria
- Recommending health education programs based on analysis of State/Regional/Local health statistics
Required Skills:
- Must be able to travel locally as needed within the community and to members homes as needed
- Requires a BA; minimum of 2 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Experience working in a health outreach and/or health education environment
- Experience speaking about preventative screenings and the benefits of being compliant with health directives
- Excellent communication skills; must be comfortable calling members on the phone and speaking with them about their health
- Computer skills: MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) data-base applications
