Job Summary

A healthcare analytics company has an open position for a Remote Healthcare Actuary Data Scientist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Perform or assist in pricing, reserving and forecasting of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial lines of business
  • Learn and apply rules and regulation around government healthcare programs
  • Use modern programming languages to work with large datasets to automate regulatory, economic and actuarial modeling

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelors degree in Statistics or Computer Science
  • Experience with and enthusiasm for open source tools
  • Knowledge of SQL or ability to learn quickly upon hire
  • Desire to be an expert in healthcare economics and passionate about making an impact in this field
  • Demonstration of exceptional academic accomplishments or a portfolio of projects in statistics and relevant technologies
  • 1+ years experience
