Job Summary
A healthcare and pharmaceutical company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Senior Underwriting Consultant Underwriter Manager.
Must be able to:
- Perform underwriting analysis and risk assessment for new and renewal of large group contracts
- Prepare and deliver complex new business quotes and/or existing business renewals
- Review work for accuracy, identifies risks and makes recommendations to manage risk
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5-7 years’ experience in healthcare/medical underwriting/accounting pricing methodologies and funding arrangements
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with others to meet/exceed expectations
- Demonstrated ability to utilize analytical and independent thinking skills
- Demonstrated success prioritizing work and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with standard Microsoft Office products
- Experience providing clear and concise written and verbal communications
