Job Summary
A healthcare and pharmaceutical company is in need of a Remote Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Underwriter Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Support company's ability to achieve its financial and strategic goals through effective underwriting
- Underwrite support primarily includes identifying, evaluating, and managing risk to maximize revenue, membership and earnings
- Perform underwriting analysis and risk assessment for new large group contracts
Position Requirements Include:
- 5-7 years’ experience in medical/healthcare underwriting/accounting pricing methodologies and funding arrangements
- Demonstrated success prioritizing work and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to utilize analytical and independent thinking skills
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with others to meet/exceed expectations
- Experience providing clear and concise written and verbal communications
