A healthcare company is filling a position for a Remote Healthcare Collections Specialist in Birmingham.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Referring calls/accounts to appropriate parties based on customer inquiries
• Updating the patient account record to identify actions taken on the account
• Working with patients and guarantors to secure payment on outstanding account balances

Position Requirements Include:

• Ability to maintain minimum production and quality standards
• Ability to achieve passing quality review scores per unit requirements
• Ability to produce acceptable unit collection volumes
• Ability to work within company attendance guidelines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to identify problem accounts and escalate as appropriate
