Job Summary

A healthcare network company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote HIM IP Coding Quality Auditor in Atlanta.

Must be able to:

Daily monitoring the compliance software system to ensure coding edits are completed
Work with respective departments to obtain medical record documentation for coding
Assist the IP HIS Coding Reimbursement/Coordinator in monitoring data for coding compliance

Qualifications for this position include:

2 years experience in Acute Care, CPT and ICD-10-CM coding
1 year experience in quality review
Certification in one of the following: CCS or successful completion of CCS exam within 1 year of hire, or RHIT or RHIA
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office products
The ability to develop spreadsheets and databases, and import/export files, etc
Previous experience with encoder software
