Job Summary

A non-profit health care organization is filling a position for a Remote History and Genealogy Freelance Content Writer.

Must be able to:

  • Work closely with members of the organization team to develop and execute all digital content writing
  • Adhere to the internal digital content calendar, ensuring content is drafted, approved, and sent according to schedule
  • Draft, finalize and send emails according to the digital content calendar using MailChimp and NeonCRM (where applicable)

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Track record of successful digital content production (ideally more than three years of experience)
  • Experience and knowledge of writing about history, genealogy, or family history
  • Experience using MailChimp (required) and NeonCRM (preferred, though training will be provided)
  • Team player and self-starter, who can work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptionally detailed-oriented and well-organized
