Job Summary
A major financial and banking institution has a current position open for a Remote Home Equity Underwriter II.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Underwriting the basic product offerings for the business unit
- Ensuring material information captured in the application is accurate at time of review
- Proactively suggesting program alternatives within their product capabilities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 2 years Mortgage or equity processing or junior underwriting experience in a lending institution
- Experience using Automated Underwriting Systems
- Self-directed with excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate complex income documentation
- Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel
