Job Summary

A staffing agency has an open position for a Remote IBM Mainframe Support Analyst.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Providing technical solutions in production and plan test (user acceptance testing) environments
  • Taking phone calls for customer support during call center off hours
  • Solving tickets as they come in or escalating the tickets to the production team

Position Requirements Include:

  • Ability to work from home after a 4-6 week training period in Washington DC
  • 5 years practical and demonstrated experience with production and testing environments support
  • 5 years of experience with Mainframe, COBOL, DB2 & JCL
  • 5 years of experience with COBOL applications running under CICS
  • Must be comfortable with shift work: 6am-6pm, and 6pm-6am, 4 days on and 3 days off
  • BA/BS/AA/Vocational in computer science or similar discipline or equivalent experience
