Job Summary
A financial technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Implementations Senior Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Working as a senior IC on company’s implementations team
- Helping in the architecting, designing, implementing, and maintaining of company’s implementations backend
- Advocating and driving for best practices in technical disciplines across company’s ecosystem (testing, logging, design patterns, and more)
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Demonstrated passion for writing clean, thoroughly documented, and well-tested code, with an eye for long term viability and performance
- 6+ years professional experience writing backend services & APIs
- Demonstrated good understanding of computer science fundamentals / data structures / algorithms
- Well versed with both SOAP and REST apis
- Well versed with microservice architectures
- Well versed in designing distributed systems, specifically systems using messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc
