Job Summary
A healthcare research company has an open position for a Remote Indirect Procurement Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitating the use of project management tools to achieve a balanced, data driven and risk-based decision making process
- Developing collaborative relationships with vital stakeholder and support function departments
- Negotiating with vendors to obtain the best value
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 + years experience in a comparable procurement role
- Experience purchasing Indirect or R&D categories
- Bachelors degree in a life-science related field, business-related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong Project Management skills
- Experience with strategic sourcing and negotiations
- Experience with an ERP and Finance related systems, i.e. NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, SAP
