Job Summary

A university is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Industrial Fire Safety Adjunct Faculty Member.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Introducing students to the International Fire Code and orienting them to the basics of Fire Safety
  • Teaching how to read code, interpret code, and apply modern codes in various situations
  • Mentoring students and facilitating teaching and learning

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Master’s degree or higher in a related field
  • Experience performing fire safety inspections, fire prevention, fire investigations, emergency planning, or fire code
  • Online and/or classroom teaching experience, preferably in a similar subject
  • Ability to uphold the mission, values, and standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
