Job Summary

A financial services and investment firm has a current position open for a Remote Information Systems Technical Consultant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, code and document programs and enhancements
  • Perform analyst role in design, code, test, debug, and maintain of programs
  • Modify and develop complex information systems involving most phases of systems analysis and programming

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Minimum of five years Java development
  • Five years of experience in software development and support applications in Web environment
  • Expertise in open systems development using Java, J2EE and Weblogic are required
  • Knowledge of Oracle or DB2 database
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Linux Operating System, Java Script, Linux scripting, Perl Scripting, Visual Basic, etc
