Job Summary
An advanced molecular diagnostics company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Information Technology Security Engineer Leader.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Mentoring IT security personnel on effective IS best practices
- Providing hands-on IS technical consulting services
- Applying knowledge of common IS Management frameworks
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location
- Bachelor’s in related field or High School Degree/GED and 4 years of relevant experience
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in security engineering
- 2+ years of experience providing leadership and mentoring in a technical IT role
- 2+ years of experience working in: ISO 27001, SOX, HIPAA, HITECH, CLIA, or CAP
- Knowledge of common security exploits, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures
