Job Summary
An IT company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Infrastructure Engineering Lead.
Must be able to:
- Provide architectural and operational support to software engineers
- Maintain transactional database infrastructure using MySQL, PostgreSQL, and managed services
- Maintain a distributed, global ecosystem of thousands of cloud instances
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience building globally-distributed systems
- 6+ Years Linux based engineering experience
- A solid understanding of security best practices
- Experience in a tech leadership role, and/or strong leadership qualities
- Proficiency in one or more high level programming languages
- Configuration management systems such as Chef or Ansible
