Job Summary

A healthcare services company has a current position open for a Remote Inpatient Coder III in Fort Myers.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting Coding Leadership team in meeting coding quality and productivity goals and objectives
  • Mentoring and training all functions and services related to hospital medical coding, medical documentation, and physician queries
  • Providing ongoing coding/systems education and training of staff

Required Skills:

  • Travel between facilities will be required periodically
  • Associate's in Applied Science
  • 1 Year Inpatient Acute Care Coding Required
  • CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) Required
  • RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) Required
  • RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) Required
